On 29 Oct’21, a snatching incident happened in the early morning at around 5:30 am near Mela ground, New Town. The lady namely Tandra Ghosh wife of Sabyasachi Ghosh a local resident, came out for morning walk as usual routine.
The snatchers came suddenly on bike, snatched her bag and ran away. The lady was unable to notice the number plate of snatchers bike. The bag was containing mobile, money and the keys of her flat. The police has already started the investigation to arrest the snatchers.
